This project is a variation of Alinaline’s Skirt Bethany.
This set looks just like our Skirt Bethany, however the design elements are changed and optimized to provide a different look, specialized for this scarf project. These files are not directly interchangeable with Bethany Skirt because of the hand crafted changes to the digitizing.
This design was modified to fit a scarf edge but can be used for different projects of this type. We provide you with detailed instructions how to complete this project, supported by step by step photos.
The scarf can be made of any kind of fabric, and the color choices are only limited by your imagination. We used a thin, light fabric with dense texture in a brown color. Our thread color is a close match to the fabric color, but contrasting color combinations can also work very well.
Your scarf doesn’t need to be made of any particular kind of fabric. Heavier material works just as well as lighter material. The only differences are: how it behaves inside the hoop, and how it receives cutwork.
